- I've always been a big list maker. I suppose I inherited it from my mother. When I was growing up, she had lists for everything...shopping lists, Christmas lists, to do lists. She was apt to keep most of her lists on the backs of grocery store receipts or scraps of paper. I keep my lists in a 3x5 spiral notebook in my purse. Some of these lists get checked off, torn out and thrown away quite frequently. Others stay in there for months, sometimes even years, before the whole notebook gets thrown into a box marked "memories." Hence the reason for this blog. It's somewhat of a scrapbook for me...without all the fluff...with some other random stuff thrown in for good measure.
It takes more than good memory to have good memories.
